The ES3G-E3/9AT is a surface mount ultrafast plastic rectifier diode from Vishay General Semiconductor, designed for high frequency rectification and freewheeling applications in switching mode converters and inverters. It features a glass passivated pellet chip junction and is ideal for automated placement.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400V, an average rectified current of 3A, and a typical reverse recovery time of 35 ns. The forward voltage is 1.1V maximum at 3A, and the peak forward surge current capacity is 100A (8.3 ms single half sine-wave). The device operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
The diode is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package with matte tin plated terminals. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. It is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected, with an MSL rating of Level 1 (unlimited).
