The ES3B-13 is a 100V, 3A super-fast rectifier diode manufactured by Diodes Incorporated. It features a fast reverse recovery time of 25ns, making it suitable for high-efficiency switching applications. The diode has a low forward voltage drop of 900mV at 3A, which minimizes power dissipation.
The device is built with glass passivated die construction for improved reliability and is capable of handling a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 100A. The junction capacitance is 45pF at 4V and 1MHz. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C, with storage temperature from -65°C to 150°C.
Packaged in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package, the ES3B-13 is designed for automated assembly. The package has a typical thermal resistance of 15°C/W when mounted on 5.0mm2 copper pads. The device is RoHS3 compliant and MSL Level 1 per J-STD-020C. Terminals are solder plated and available with matte tin finish for lead-free soldering.
