The ES3A-13 is a 3.0A surface-mount super-fast rectifier from Diodes Incorporated, designed for high-efficiency applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 50V and an average rectified output current of 3A at 100°C. The device offers a low forward voltage drop of 0.9V maximum at 3A, reducing power dissipation. With a maximum reverse recovery time of 25ns, it is suitable for high-frequency switching circuits. The rectifier can withstand a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 100A, providing robustness for transient conditions. The part is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package, with solder-plated terminals and a cathode band for polarity identification. It is RoHS compliant and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 (unlimited). The device is suitable for automated assembly and is available in lead-free finish.
