The ES2G-E3/52T is an ultrafast rectifier diode from Vishay, designed for high-frequency rectification and freewheeling applications in switching mode converters and inverters. It features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400V and an average rectified current of 2A.
Key electrical characteristics include a forward voltage drop of 1.1V at 2A, a reverse recovery time of 35ns (tested at IF=0.5A, IR=1A, Irr=0.25A), and a peak forward surge current capability of 50A (8.3ms single half sine-wave). The device also exhibits a junction capacitance of 15pF at 4V and 1MHz.
The diode is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AA (SMB) package with matte tin plated terminals and a color band cathode marking. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and is RoHS3 compliant with MSL level 1 (unlimited).
