The ES2B is a fast rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, designed for surface mount applications. It features a glass-passivated junction for reliability and low-profile DO-214AA (SMB) package for easy pick and place.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 100V, average rectified forward current of 2A, and a forward voltage drop of 900mV at 2A. The reverse recovery time is 20ns, making it suitable for high-efficiency switching circuits. Surge current capability is 50A (8.3ms half-sine wave).
