The ES1JL is a 600V, 1A super fast surface mount rectifier from Taiwan Semiconductor. It features a glass passivated chip junction for high reliability and is designed for automated placement. The device has a maximum forward voltage of 1.7V at 1A and a fast reverse recovery time of 35ns, making it suitable for high-frequency switching applications. The junction capacitance is 8pF at 4V and 1MHz. The rectifier can handle a peak forward surge current of 30A. It is packaged in a Sub SMA (DO-219AB) case with matte tin plated leads, and is RoHS3 compliant and halogen-free. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. Typical applications include DC-DC converters, switching mode converters and inverters, and freewheeling circuits.
