The ES1J is a 600V, 1A super fast rectifier diode from Taiwan Semiconductor, designed for surface mount applications. It offers a maximum peak repetitive reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified output current of 1A. The forward voltage is typically 1.7V at 1A, and the device achieves a fast reverse recovery time of 35ns, making it suitable for high-frequency switching circuits.
Packaged in a DO-214AC (SMA) low-profile molded plastic case with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, the ES1J is designed for automatic assembly. It features a glass passivated die construction, low forward voltage drop, and low power loss. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C, and thermal resistance (junction to lead) is 35 K/W.
Typical applications include freewheeling diodes, polarity protection, and high-frequency rectification in power supplies and converters. The device is Pb-free and supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 5000 pieces per reel.
