ES1J is a surface mount fast recovery rectifier diode from SMC Diode Solutions, rated for 600V peak repetitive reverse voltage and 1A average rectified output current. It features a typical forward voltage of 1.7V at 1A and a maximum reverse recovery time of 75ns, making it suitable for high-frequency switching applications. The device also offers a peak forward surge current capability of 30A and an electrostatic discharge rating of 2000V.
The diode is built with glass passivated die construction and is housed in a low profile molded plastic SMA (DO-214AC) package. It is designed for automatic assembly and has solder plated terminals. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C, with a typical thermal resistance of 35 K/W when mounted on a PC board with 8.0mm² lead area.
This component is Pb-free and RoHS3 compliant, with MSL 1 rating. It is commonly used in power supply circuits, freewheeling diodes, and reverse polarity protection applications.
