The ES1DHE3_A/I is a surface-mount ultrafast plastic rectifier from Vishay General Semiconductor, part of the ES1 series. It features a glass passivated pellet chip junction and ultrafast recovery times (15 ns typical) for high efficiency. The device is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 200V and an average forward rectified current of 1A. It has a low forward voltage of 0.92V at 1A, reducing power losses.
Ideal for automated placement, the DO-214AC (SMA) package is low profile and meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The terminals are matte tin plated and solderable per J-STD-002 and JESD 22-B102. Polarity is indicated by a color band on the cathode.
Typical applications include high frequency rectification and freewheeling in switching mode converters and inverters for consumer, computer, automotive, and telecommunication systems. The device is RoHS-compliant (E3 suffix) and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020.
