The ES1A-13 is a surface mount super-fast rectifier diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed for high efficiency rectification. It features a 1A average rectified output current capability and a 50V peak repetitive reverse voltage rating.
With a forward voltage of 920 mV at 1A, the diode offers low conduction losses. The reverse recovery time is 25 ns, enabling high-frequency operation. The device also has a surge overload rating of 30A peak.
The diode is housed in a compact SMA (DO-214AC) package, suitable for automated assembly. It has a matte tin finish and is RoHS compliant. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C, with a thermal resistance of 25°C/W junction to terminal.
Typical applications include power supplies, converters, and freewheeling diodes in high-frequency circuits. The super-fast recovery is ideal for applications requiring reduced switching losses.
