The ES07D-GS18 is an ultrafast rectifier from Vishay Semiconductors, part of the eSMP series. It is designed for surface mount applications and features a glass passivated pellet chip junction for high reliability. The device is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 200V and an average forward rectified current of 1.2A at a lead temperature of 109°C, or 0.5A at an ambient temperature of 65°C when mounted on a standard epoxy glass PCB with 3mm x 3mm copper pads. It can handle a peak forward surge current of 30A (8.3ms single half sine-wave).
Key electrical characteristics include a forward voltage of 0.98V at 1A, a reverse recovery time of 25ns, and a typical junction capacitance of 4pF at 4V and 1MHz. The reverse leakage current is a maximum of 10µA at 25°C and 50µA at 100°C at rated DC blocking voltage. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and has a thermal resistance junction-to-ambient of 180 K/W when mounted as specified.
The ES07D-GS18 is packaged in the SMF (DO-219AB) case, which is compatible with SOD-123W, SOD-123F, and SOD-123FL outlines. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging: 10,000 units per 13-inch reel (GS18 code) or 3,000 units per 7-inch reel (GS08 code). The part is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020. RoHS3 and REACH compliance status is unverified but listed as RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected.
