The Samtec ERM8-020-05.0-S-DV-L-TR is a 40 position, 2-row header with center strip contacts from the Edge Rate series. It features a 0.80mm pitch and surface mount termination, making it suitable for high-density board-to-board mezzanine applications. The connector is rated for 1.4A per contact and 225VAC / 318VDC, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
The Edge Rate contact system provides up to 1.5mm of contact wipe for reliable connections in high-cycle environments. The insulator is molded from black LCP, and contacts are gold plated over 30µin nickel. The part includes board guide and latch features for secure mating. Mated stacking heights of 10mm, 12mm, and 15mm are supported.
