The Mini-Circuits EP2W1+ is a high-performance MMIC 2-way 0 degree power splitter/combiner. It operates across an ultra-wide bandwidth from 0.5 GHz to 9.5 GHz, making it suitable for a variety of applications including WiMAX, ISM, instrumentation, radar, WLAN, satellite communications, and LTE bands.
This device features excellent power handling capabilities, rated for up to 2.5W as a splitter and 1.7W internal dissipation as a combiner. It also provides low insertion loss, good isolation, and minimal phase and amplitude unbalance. Manufactured using GaAs IPD technology, the EP2W1+ ensures a high level of ESD protection and excellent repeatability.
The EP2W1+ is housed in a tiny 5x5mm QFN package, saving valuable board space in dense layouts. Its surface-mount design facilitates easy integration into various systems. The component is also aqueous washable and DC passing up to 0.4A, offering flexibility in certain applications where RF and DC signals need to coexist.
