The Mini-Circuits EP2RKU+ is a high-performance MMIC 2-way 0° splitter/combiner suitable for a wide range of applications including WiMAX, ISM, Instrumentation, Radar, WLAN, and Satellite communications. It operates across an ultra-wide bandwidth from DC to 18 GHz, supporting various LTE bands.
This model provides excellent power handling capabilities up to 0.6W as a splitter/combiner, coupled with good isolation and low phase and amplitude unbalance. The typical isolation is 20 dB at 12 GHz, with excellent amplitude unbalance of 0.1 dB typ. to 18 GHz and good phase unbalance of 3.3° typ. at 12 GHz.
Manufactured using GaAs IPD technology, the EP2RKU+ ensures repeatable performance and a high level of ESD protection. It is housed in a tiny 5 x 5mm QFN package, saving valuable space in dense PCB layouts while offering low inductance and excellent thermal contact. The component is also aqueous washable.
Key features include its ultra-wide bandwidth, high isolation, excellent amplitude and phase unbalance, and small footprint, making it ideal for applications such as WMO and phased array radars, as well as wideband military and instrumentation systems.
