The C&K Components EP11FPD1AKE is a sealed tiny pushbutton switch from the EP Series, suitable for telecommunications and networking equipment, computers, peripherals, and instrumentation.

This switch features a contact rating of 0.4 VA maximum at 20 V AC or DC, with a contact resistance below 20mΩ typical. It has an insulation resistance of 10⁹ Ω minimum and a dielectric strength of 1000 Vrms minimum. The operating temperature range is -30°C to 85°C.

Designed for harsh environments, the EP11FPD1AKE is sealed against solder and cleaning processes, achieving an IP57 degree of protection against dust and temporary immersion. The actuator is snap-fitting and accepts standard caps. It is available in thru-hole and surface mount models, with this specific model featuring a through-hole, right-angle mounting type and PC pin termination.

The case and bushing are made from high-temperature, flame-retardant glass-filled nylon (UL 94 V-0) for EP11/EP12 models. The plunger is constructed from thermoplastic polyester or glass-filled nylon (UL 94 V-0) with an internal o-ring seal. Contacts and terminals are copper alloy with gold plating over nickel. The switch function is Off-Mom, with a round, plunger, flush actuator type and no marking.
