The Bourns ENT1J-D28-L00128L is a self-contained rotary optical encoder designed for digital systems requiring precise magnitude and direction sensing. It produces a 2-bit quadrature signal with a resolution of up to 256 PPR, suitable for applications where long life, reliability, and linearity are critical.
This encoder operates at a 5VDC supply voltage with a maximum supply current of 26mA. It is compatible with CMOS and TTL logic levels. The encoder offers a useful rotational life of up to 200 million shaft revolutions and supports high operating speeds up to 3000 rpm with a ball bearing option.
Designed for panel or PCB through-hole mounting, the ENT1J-D28-L00128L features a vertical orientation and a PC pin termination style.
