The ENC28J60T-I/SO is an Ethernet controller designed for embedded applications. It features an IEEE 802.3™ compatible Ethernet interface, fully supporting 10/100/1000Base-T networks. The device includes an integrated MAC and 10Base-T PHY, supporting one 10Base-T port with automatic polarity detection and correction. It supports full and half-duplex modes, programmable automatic retransmit on collision, and programmable padding and CRC generation. The controller uses an SPI interface with clock speeds up to 20 MHz and includes an 8-Kbyte dual-port SRAM for transmit and receive packets, along with hardware-managed circular receive FIFO and internal DMA for fast data movement. It also offers hardware-assisted checksum calculation for various network protocols and supports unicast, multicast, and broadcast packets. Designed for network interface applications, it is suitable for embedded systems requiring Ethernet connectivity.
