The EN6360QA is an Intel Enpirion Power System on a Chip (PowerSoC) DC-DC converter that integrates the inductor, MOSFET switches, small-signal circuits, and compensation in an advanced 8 mm x 11mm x 3mm 68-pin QFN package. It is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications and designed to meet the precise voltage and fast transient requirements of high-performance, low-power processors, DSPs, FPGAs, memory boards, and system-level applications in distributed power architecture.
Key electrical specifications include an input voltage range of 2.5V to 6.6V, an adjustable output voltage from 0.6V to 5.8V, and a continuous output current of 8A. The device achieves up to 96% efficiency and maintains 2% output voltage accuracy over line, load, and temperature. Protection features include over-current (OCP), over-temperature (OTP), short-circuit (SCP), and under-voltage lockout (UVLO). Additional features include precision enable threshold, programmable soft-start, frequency synchronization, and master/slave configuration for parallel operation.
