The EN5339QI is a PowerSoC (Power System on a Chip) step-down DC-DC switching converter designed by Intel, integrating a power inductor, MOSFET switches, and control circuitry into a compact 6.0mm x 4.0mm x 1.1mm 24-pin QFN package. This module provides a fully integrated buck converter solution for space-constrained applications.
It operates from a 2.4V to 5.5V input voltage range and provides a regulated output from 0.6V to 4.6V, supporting up to 3A continuous output current with a typical efficiency of 95%. The device features remote on/off control, power-good (POK) signal, and protection features including overcurrent (OCP), overtemperature (OTP), short-circuit (SCP), and under-voltage lockout (UVLO).
The EN5339QI is designed for commercial ITE applications and is suitable for low-profile designs such as solid-state drives, embedded computing, and network processors. Its integrated inductor reduces board space and simplifies layout, while the high switching frequency allows use of small MLCC capacitors. The module is RoHS compliant and halogen-free, with an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited).
