The EN2390QI is a Power System on a Chip (PowerSoC) DC-DC converter from Intel's Enpirion family. It integrates MOSFET switches, control circuits, compensation, and an inductor in a compact 11x10x3mm QFN module. This non-isolated point-of-load (PoL) module delivers up to 9A output current with an adjustable output voltage range of 0.75V to 3.3V. It operates from a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 14V and achieves up to 89% efficiency.
The module includes advanced features such as remote on/off control, programmable soft-start, frequency synchronization to an external clock, and a power OK signal. Protection features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO), short-circuit protection (SCP), and thermal shutdown (OTP). The EN2390QI supports parallel operation of up to four devices for a total output current of 29A.
Designed for space-constrained applications, the EN2390QI is suitable for distributed power architectures and ITE (commercial) equipment. It is surface-mountable in a 76-PowerBFQFN package (76-QFN, 11x10mm). The module is RoHS3 compliant, halogen-free, and compatible with lead-free manufacturing processes. MSL level is 3 with a 260°C reflow profile.
