The EMIF02-AV01F3 from STMicroelectronics is a highly integrated dual audio and video line IPAD EMI filter and ESD protection device. It is designed to suppress EMI/RFI noise and provide impedance matching for mobile phones and portable applications. The filter uses an RC (Pi) topology with a 2nd order response, featuring a typical resistance of 15 Ohms and a typical capacitance of 3200 pF per line.
This device includes robust ESD protection circuitry, meeting IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 on external pins with 15 kV air discharge and 8 kV contact discharge ratings. Internal pins are protected to IEC 61000-4-2 level 1. The filter operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and has a maximum power dissipation of 200 mW.
