The EMI9408MUTAG is an inductor-based (L-C) EMI filter array with integrated ESD protection from onsemi. It integrates eight filter channels in a compact 16-UFDFN exposed pad package with 0.40 mm pitch. Each channel implements a Pi-style C-L-C network with component values of 1.8 pF, 35 nH, 4.7 pF, 35 nH, and 6 pF.
The filter provides a 3 dB cutoff frequency of 300 MHz and supports data rates up to 160 Mbps. It delivers greater than 35 dB of attenuation over the 800 MHz to 2.7 GHz frequency range. ESD protection diodes on every I/O pin are rated for ±14 kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4.
This device is designed for EMI filtering and protecting data and control lines in mobile handsets, LCD displays, and camera interfaces. It is housed in a space-saving, low-profile surface mount package and is RoHS compliant and Pb-Free.
