It accepts input voltages from 4.5V to 16V and delivers up to 40A of continuous current with a regulated output voltage range of 0.7V to 1.325V. Typical efficiency reaches 90% at 12V input and 1.2V output. Output ripple is as low as 10mV peak-to-peak.

 

The device features a PMBus v1.2 compliant interface for setup, control, and telemetry. It includes differential remote sensing and 0.5% set-point accuracy over line, load, and temperature. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. Only input/output capacitors and a few small components are required for a complete solution.

 

It is designed for FPGAs, ASICs, processors, and DDR memory rails requiring high efficiency and precise regulation. The digital control loop provides excellent transient response and eliminates external compensation.
