The Intel EM2130L02QI is a fully integrated 30A PowerSoC synchronous buck converter in a compact 17.0mm x 11.0mm x 6.8mm 104-PowerBQFN module. It features an advanced digital controller, integrated gate drivers, synchronous MOSFET switches, and a high-performance inductor, requiring only input and output filter capacitors and a few small signal components for a complete solution.

 

This module offers a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 16V and a programmable output voltage range of 0.7V to 1.325V with ±0.5% set-point accuracy. Typical efficiency reaches 95% at 5V input and 3.3V output, and 90% at 12V input and 1.2V output. Output ripple is as low as 10 mV peak-to-peak, and differential remote sensing ensures precise regulation.

 

The device supports PMBus v1.2 for setup, control, and telemetry, and can also operate in standalone mode. It is designed for high-performance FPGAs, ASICs, processors, and DDR memory applications. The module is surface-mountable and operates over -40°C to 85°C with derating.
