The Intersil EL7457CS is a high-speed, non-inverting, quad CMOS driver designed for demanding applications. It operates at clock rates up to 40MHz and offers a significant 2A peak drive capability, making it suitable for driving highly capacitive loads.
This driver features a nominal on-resistance of just 4.5 Ohms and provides fast rise and fall times, matched to within 1ns. The propagation delay is also matched between rising and falling edges to within 2ns. It supports single or dual power supplies and is compatible with 3V and 5V CMOS and TTL logic inputs.
The EL7457CS is available in a 16-SOIC package and is well-suited for applications such as CCD storage and vertical clocks, ATE pin driving, level-shifting, and general clock-driving tasks. The output enable (OE) pin allows for outputs to be placed in a high-impedance state, useful during power-down sequences.
Key electrical characteristics include a wide voltage range of 4.5V to 18V for the supply and -4.5V to 16V for output signals. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
