The EL1883ISZ-T7 is a video sync separator manufactured using Elantec's high-performance analog CMOS process. This device is designed to extract sync timing information from both standard and non-standard video inputs, even in the presence of Macrovision pulses.
It offers composite sync, vertical sync, burst/back porch timing, and horizontal outputs. The fixed 70mV sync tip slicing enables sync edge detection for video input levels between 0.5VP-P and 2VP-P. A single external resistor allows for adjustment of internal timing to accommodate various video standards.
The EL1883ISZ-T7 operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is available in an 8-pin SOIC package. It requires a supply voltage between 3V and 5V and consumes a typical supply current of 1.2 mA.
