The EGP30K is a 3.0 ampere glass passivated high efficiency rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, designed for applications requiring fast switching and high surge capability.
This device offers a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 800V and an average rectified current of 3A at TL = 55°C. It features a reverse recovery time of 75 ns, making it suitable for high frequency rectification and switching power supplies. The forward voltage is specified at 1.7V maximum at 3A, and the device can handle a peak forward surge current of 125A (8.3 ms single half-sine-wave).
The EGP30K is packaged in a DO-201AD (axial lead) case, with through-hole mounting. It has a junction to ambient thermal resistance of 20°C/W and a junction to lead thermal resistance of 8.5°C/W. The device is Pb-free, Halide free, and RoHS compliant.
