The EGP30G-E3/73 is a glass passivated ultrafast plastic rectifier from Vishay General Semiconductor, part of the EGP30 series. It is designed for high-frequency rectification and freewheeling applications in switching mode converters and inverters. The device features a maximum average rectified current of 3 A and a maximum peak reverse voltage of 400 V. It offers a fast reverse recovery time of 50 ns and a low forward voltage drop of 1.25 V at 3 A. The diode is housed in a through-hole GP20 package (DO-201AA / DO-27, axial leads) and is RoHS-compliant. Its junction temperature is rated up to 150 °C and it can handle a peak forward surge current of 125 A. Typical applications include consumer, computer, and telecommunication power supplies.
