The EGP20G-E3/54 is a glass passivated ultrafast plastic rectifier from Vishay General Semiconductor. It is designed for high frequency rectification and freewheeling applications in switching mode converters and inverters. This device is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 400V and an average forward current of 2A at 55°C with 9.5mm lead length. It offers a fast reverse recovery time of 50ns maximum, low forward voltage drop of 1.25V at 2A, and high forward surge current capability of 75A for 8.3ms. The junction and storage temperature range is -65°C to 150°C. The rectifier is packaged in a through-hole DO-15 (DO-204AC) case with axial leads, and is RoHS compliant per the E3 suffix. It is designed for use in consumer, computer, and telecommunication equipment.
