This Vishay EGF1B-E3/67A is a glass-passivated ultrafast rectifier diode designed for high-frequency rectification and freewheeling applications in switching power converters and inverters. It features a superectifier structure that provides high reliability and a cavity-free glass-passivated junction. The device is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V and an average forward rectified current of 1A at 125°C lead temperature. It offers an ultrafast reverse recovery time of 50 ns (max), a low forward voltage of 1.0V max at 1A, and a high forward surge current capability of 30A (8.3 ms single half sine-wave). The diode is housed in a DO-214BA (GF1) surface-mount package with matte tin plated terminals and cathode polarity indicated by a color band.
