The Panasonic ECW-FE2W104K is a metallized polypropylene film capacitor with a capacitance of 0.1 µF and a tolerance of ±10%. It is rated for 450V DC operation and features a non-inductive construction that minimizes parasitic inductance, making it suitable for high frequency and pulse circuits.
This capacitor uses a flame retardant plastic case and non-combustible resin, providing enhanced safety. It exhibits excellent frequency characteristics with a low dissipation factor of 0.1% at 1 kHz, and offers high insulation resistance of at least 9,000 MΩ or 30,000 MΩ depending on test conditions.
Designed for applications such as EMI/RFI suppression, high frequency switching, and high pulse or dv/dt environments, the ECW-FE2W104K can also be used in active filter circuits. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, with voltage derating above 85°C.
The capacitor is packaged in a radial through-hole format with PC pin terminations and a lead spacing of 10.00 mm. Its dimensions are 13.00 mm length, 5.00 mm width, and 10.50 mm height.
