The ECS-2520MVLC-081.92-BN-TR is a miniature SMD low current CMOS oscillator from ECS Inc. It features an 8.192 MHz output frequency with ±50ppm frequency stability over the full -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range. The MultiVolt design allows operation from 1.6V to 3.6V supply voltage, making it compatible with 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V power rails.
This oscillator consumes only 1.8mA maximum supply current at 3.3V (no load) and offers an enable/disable function via pin 1 for standby power savings with 10µA standby current. The CMOS output drives a 15pF load with 45/55% duty cycle and 7ns rise/fall time. Phase jitter is typically 150fs (12kHz-20MHz, 50MHz carrier).
The device is housed in a 4-SMD no-lead ceramic package measuring 2.5mm x 2.0mm x 0.9mm, suitable for surface mount assembly. It is ideal for low power, portable, industrial, and IoT applications such as LoRa WAN. The part is supplied on tape and reel with 1000 pieces per reel.
