The ECS-2520MV-160-CN-TR is a miniature SMD HCMOS crystal oscillator from ECS Inc. part of the MultiVolt series. It operates at a nominal frequency of 16 MHz with a frequency stability of ±25ppm over the full -40°C to +85°C temperature range. The device accepts a wide supply voltage from 1.6V to 3.6V and provides a HCMOS output driving a 15 pF load. Maximum current consumption is 6 mA with a standby current of only 10 µA. The oscillator features rise and fall times of 7 ns (10% to 90% Vdd) and a startup time of 5 ms. Phase jitter is 1 ps typical (12 kHz to 5 MHz) and duty cycle is 45/55% at half Vdd. An enable/disable function on pin 1 (Tri-state) allows output high-impedance control. The device is housed in a 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.9 mm 4-SMD no-lead ceramic package, ideal for space-constrained designs.
