The EC5BE21 is a 15W isolated DC-DC converter module from the EC5BE series by Cincon Electronics. It accepts a 2:1 input voltage range of 36-72 VDC and provides a regulated 5V output at up to 3A, delivering 15W of power. The converter achieves a typical efficiency of 80% and features a pi-type input filter, continuous short circuit protection, and 500V input-to-output isolation. Switching frequency is 300 kHz.
The module is housed in a six-sided shielded metal case with dimensions of 50.8mm x 25.4mm x 10.2mm (2.00" x 1.00" x 0.40"). It uses a through-hole 6-DIP package for board mounting. Operating temperature range is -25°C to 100°C with derating. The converter is approved to CE and cURus standards, meeting safety requirements of IEC/EN/UL 62368-1.
