The Rosenberger EBCK11T-40MN5 is a 50 Ohm EBC straight jack coaxial connector designed for PCB microstrip applications. It operates from DC to 10 GHz with a minimum return loss of 26 dB up to 6 GHz. The insertion loss is limited to 0.05 × √f dB (f in GHz). The connector supports a working voltage of 335 V rms at sea level and can handle up to 100 W at 2.2 GHz and 25°C.
The connector features a push-pull fastening mechanism with defined engagement and disengagement forces depending on the EBC variant (LD or SB). The center contact is made of CuBe or equivalent gold-plated AuroDur®, and the outer contact is spring bronze with white bronze plating. The body is brass with tin plating. The dielectric is LCP. It is rated for at least 100 mating cycles and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C.
This surface mount connector has a weight of 0.25 g and is RoHS3 compliant. It is suitable for high-density board-to-board connections with a minimum B2B distance of 12 mm.
