The Rosenberger EBCK111-40MN5 is a straight jack PCB RF connector using the EBC interface. It is designed for surface mount applications with solder termination for both center contact and shield. The connector offers a 50 Ohm impedance and operates from DC to 10 GHz, with a return loss of ≥26 dB from DC to 6 GHz and insertion loss of ≤0.05√f dB. Power handling is 100 W at 2.2 GHz under sea level conditions.
Mechanically, the connector features a push-pull fastening mechanism with a minimum of 100 mating cycles. Engagement forces vary by variant: 13-35 N for LD and 4-12 N for SB. The connector allows a working range of 1.6 mm and accommodates radial misalignment up to ±0.7 mm or 4°. The minimum board-to-board distance is 12 mm.
