The Omron E3S-X3CE4 is a robust fiber optic photoelectric sensor designed for excellent detection of color differences. It utilizes a red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm and operates on a power supply voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC with ±10% tolerance.
This sensor boasts a fast response time of 1 ms for both operate and reset functions. It features a control output current of 1.5 to 4 mA and a load current of up to 80 mA with a maximum residual voltage of 2 V. Indicators for operation (red) and stability (green) are included.
The E3S-X3CE4 is built to withstand demanding environments, offering a degree of protection rated at IEC IP66. The case is constructed from durable zinc die-cast material. It operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of -25°C to 55°C and an ambient humidity range of 35% to 85%.
With a sensing distance of up to 250 mm and a minimum sensing object diameter of 1.4 mm, this sensor is suitable for various industrial applications requiring precise detection. The fiber sheath material is black polyethylene.
