The DZT658-13 is an NPN silicon epitaxial planar transistor designed for medium power switching and amplification applications. It features a collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 400V, a collector-base voltage (VCBO) of 400V, and a continuous collector current of 500mA (1A peak pulse). DC current gain (hFE) ranges from 50 minimum to 110 typical at 1mA, 5V, and a minimum of 40 at 200mA, 10V. Collector-emitter saturation voltage is typically 0.5V maximum at 100mA collector current and 10mA base current. Transition frequency (fT) is 50MHz minimum. The device is housed in a SOT-223 surface-mount package with matte tin finish over a copper leadframe, rated for operation from -55°C to +150°C junction temperature. It is RoHS compliant and uses a green molding compound. The DZT658-13 is ideally suited for automated assembly and is a non-recommended design (use FZT658 for new designs).
