The DXTP3C100PSQ-13 is a PNP bipolar transistor designed for low saturation voltage and high power dissipation in a compact PowerDI5060-8 surface mount package. It is rated for a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 100V and a continuous collector current of 3A, with peak pulse capability up to 8A. The transistor offers a typical collector-emitter saturation resistance of 110mΩ and a DC current gain of 170 at 500mA collector current, making it suitable for power management and load switch applications.
With a transition frequency of 125MHz, this device is suitable for linear mode voltage regulators and backlighting circuits. The maximum power dissipation is 5W when mounted on FR-4 PCB, and the junction temperature range extends from -55°C to 175°C, enabling operation in high ambient temperature environments. The device is qualified to AEC-Q101 standards for automotive applications and is PPAP capable.
The DXTP3C100PSQ-13 is supplied in a PowerDI5060-8 package (also known as 8-PowerTDFN) with matte tin annealed over copper leadframe terminals. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free (green), and has a moisture sensitivity level of 3 per J-STD-020. The standard packaging is tape and reel with 2500 units per reel on a 13-inch reel with 12mm tape width.
