The DXT3904-13 is an NPN small-signal bipolar junction transistor manufactured by Diodes Incorporated. It features a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 40V and a collector current rating of 200mA, making it suitable for medium power switching and amplification applications.
The device provides a minimum DC current gain (hFE) of 100 at 10mA collector current and a collector-emitter saturation voltage of 300mV at 50mA. With a transition frequency of 300MHz, it can be used in high-speed switching and signal conditioning circuits. The transistor also offers ESD protection with a 4kV HBM rating.
Packaged in a SOT-89-3 (TO-243AA) surface-mount case, the DXT3904-13 can dissipate up to 1.2W with a 25mm x 25mm copper pad, or 0.75W with a minimum recommended pad layout. Thermal resistance varies from 104°C/W to 166°C/W depending on the pad size. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
The device is RoHS compliant, halogen and antimony free, and qualified to AEC-Q101 standards for automotive reliability. It is supplied on 13-inch reels with 2,500 pieces, and uses 12mm tape width for automated assembly.
