The DW-16-09-G-D-300 is a flexible board stacking header from Samtec's DW series, designed for elevated board-to-board connections. It provides 32 positions in a double row configuration with 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and matching row spacing. The through-hole termination with fixed 2.794mm (0.110") tail ensures consistent soldering and mechanical stability.
The header offers a stack height of 7.62mm (0.300") achieved by precisely positioning the body on the terminal pin. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with 10 µ" (0.25 µm) gold plating on the contact area and matte tin on the tail for reliable signal integrity. The black glass filled polyester insulator provides durability and high temperature tolerance.
With an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C (gold plating variant), this component suits demanding environments. It is bulk packaged and designed to mate with Samtec socket strips such as SSW, SSQ, ESW, and others. Note that this series is non-standard and non-returnable, intended for specific stacking height applications.
