The Samtec DW-10-20-T-D-845 is a flexible board stacking header from the DW series, featuring 20 positions arranged in 2 rows with a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch and row spacing. It is a through-hole solder termination component with a vertical orientation and tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts. The insulator is black glass filled polyester.
This header is designed for elevated board stacking applications, offering a fixed tail length of 0.110" (2.794mm) and a stacker height of 0.845" (21.46mm). The overall length of the lead style 10 is 0.830" (21.08mm). The contact post size is 0.025" (0.635mm) square. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C for tin plating.
The component is supplied in bulk packaging and is not lead-free solderable; it is intended for lead wave soldering only. The DW series allows designers to achieve custom board stacking heights through body position adjustments. Compatible mating connectors include Samtec's SSW, SSQ, ESW, and other socket strips.
