The Samtec DW-10-08-T-D-215 is a flexible board stacking header from the DW series, designed for elevated board stacking applications. It features 20 positions arranged in 2 rows on a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch with a row spacing of 0.100" (2.54 mm). The header uses a through-hole termination with a fixed 0.110" (2.794 mm) tail length and a stacker height of 0.215" (5.461 mm).
The insulator is made of black glass filled polyester, and the terminals are phosphor bronze with a matte tin plating. The operating temperature range for the tin finish is -55°C to +105°C. The part is packaged in bulk and is designed for lead wave soldering only, as it is not lead-free solderable.
This header mates with Samtec socket strips such as SSW, SSQ, ESW, ESQ, CES, SLW, BSW, BCS, SSM, HLE, and PHF, and with cable mates IDSS and IDSD. It is suitable for applications requiring precise board-to-board spacing.
