The Samtec DW-07-09-G-S-415 is a 7-position single row board stacker header from the DW series. It features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and through hole solder termination. The contacts are gold plated with 10 µ" (0.25 µm) gold on the contact area and gold flash on the balance, over 50 µ" nickel. The insulator is black glass filled polyester, and the terminal material is phosphor bronze.
This header has a stacker height of 10.54 mm (0.415") and an overall length of 18.54 mm (0.730"). It is designed for board-to-board stacking applications and is compatible with a wide range of Samtec board mates including SSW, SSQ, ESW, ESQ, CES, SLW, BSW, BCS, SSM, HLE, and PHF. Cable mates include IDSS and IDSD.
The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. Processing is lead wave only; this part is not lead-free solderable. For added mechanical stability, Samtec recommends mechanical board spacers in applications with gold or selective gold plated connectors.
