The Samtec DW-05-08-T-D-315 is a board spacer/stacker connector from the DW/EW/ZW series, designed for board-to-board stacking applications. It features 10 positions arranged in two rows on a standard 2.54mm pitch, with a row spacing of 2.54mm. The connector uses through-hole mounting with solder termination.
The insulator is made from black glass filled polyester, and the terminals are phosphor bronze with a matte tin plating (denoted by the -T option). The lead style 08 corresponds to an overall length of 13.46mm (0.530"). The stacker height for this variant is 8.001mm (0.315") as indicated by the -315 suffix. The tail length is 2.794mm (0.110").
This part is intended for use with tin plating and has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. The datasheet notes that this connector is non-standard and non-returnable, and it is not lead-free solderable, supporting only lead wave soldering processes.
