The Vishay General Semiconductor DTV56F-E3/45 is a high voltage damper diode designed for horizontal deflection circuits in CRT-based high-resolution displays and monitors. It has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 1500 V and an average forward current rating of 10 A, with a typical forward voltage of 1.5 V at 6 A and 125°C. The device features a very fast reverse recovery time of 135 ns and a typical forward recovery time of 350 ns, supporting high-efficiency low-switching-loss operation.
The diode is supplied in the ITO-220AC full-pack isolated-tab package, suitable for through-hole mounting. The package provides 1500 V isolation voltage between terminals and heatsink, and meets MSL level 1 and RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC compliance.
