The DST5100S-A is a Schottky barrier rectifier from Littelfuse designed for high efficiency applications. It is rated for an average forward current of 5A with a maximum reverse voltage of 100V, making it suitable for power supply and polarity protection circuits.
This device utilizes Trench MOS Schottky technology to achieve an ultra low forward voltage drop of 0.69V typical at 5A and 25°C, with low reverse leakage current of 0.06 mA typical at room temperature. The junction capacitance is 245 pF at 5V and 1MHz, supporting high frequency switching operation.
The rectifier is housed in a surface mount TO-277B package with tin termination finish. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and features a maximum thermal resistance of 75°C/W junction-to-ambient. Moisture sensitivity level is MSL 1 (unlimited).
