The Littelfuse DST2050S is a Schottky barrier rectifier designed for high efficiency power conversion. It offers a maximum reverse voltage of 50V and an average rectified forward current of 20A. The forward voltage drop is typically 650mV at 20A and 25°C junction temperature, dropping to 0.60V at 125°C. Reverse leakage current is 4mA at 25°C and 180mA at 125°C. The device can handle a non-repetitive surge current of 250A (8.3ms half sine pulse).
This rectifier uses Trench MOS Schottky technology for ultra low forward voltage drop and high frequency operation. It is suitable for switching mode power supplies, DC/DC converters, free-wheeling diodes, and polarity protection diodes. The junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C.
