The IXYS DSSK60-015A is a power Schottky rectifier array featuring two diodes in a common cathode configuration. It is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 150V and an average forward current of 30A per diode (60A per device). The typical forward voltage is 0.66V at 30A and 125°C, minimizing conduction losses.
The device is housed in a TO-247-3 package (supplier package TO-247AD) and is designed for through-hole mounting. It offers a very low forward voltage drop, extremely low switching losses, and low reverse recovery current. The maximum junction temperature is 175°C, and the thermal resistance from junction to case is typically 0.8 K/W, enabling efficient heat dissipation in high-power applications.
Typical applications include rectifiers in switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) and freewheeling diodes in low-voltage converters. The isolated version (DSSK60-015AR) is available for applications requiring an isolated back surface.
