The DSS5160U-7 from Diodes Incorporated is a PNP epitaxial planar bipolar junction transistor designed for low collector-emitter saturation voltage in a space-saving SOT-323 package.
This transistor features a collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of -60V and continuous collector current rating of -1A. It offers DC current gain (hFE) of 200 min at 5V, 1mA and maintains useful gain up to 1A. The low VCE(sat) of typically -175mV at 100mA and -340mV at 1A reduces power losses in switching and linear applications.
The device is housed in an ultra-small SOT-323 surface mount package made of green molding compound with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. It supports an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C with maximum power dissipation of 400mW on standard FR-4 PCB. The terminals feature matte tin finish over copper plated Alloy 42 leadframe for reliable solderability.
